Welcome to our Benefice Website
We are a group of churches in the beautiful Essex countryside that are working together to communicate the Love of God to all. We welcome anyone who is looking for a place to express their faith, and those who are exploring what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
We also seek to be active members of the villages in which we belong appreciating the richness that community can bring to life. I do hope that here you will find lots to enjoy and inspire, if you can’t find what you are looking for please do contact us.

ASH WEDNESDAY
Join us for a Quiet Morning at the start of lent, followed by soup lunch at St Martin's, White Roding. Wednesday 5th March from 10am.

LENT COURSE
Good Easter village hall
from 7.30pm to 9.00pm.
We will be using material from Green Christian, “Calling a Wounded Planet Home”, it asks “What kind of people might we need to be to face the challenges of climate change?”
LENT LUNCHES
Good Easter village hall
from Fridays from 14th March. Drop in any time from 12.30pm to 2.00pm for soup lunch. There is no charge, any donations to the Bishops Lent Appeal 2025.
